It is a pleasure to announce that Emily Perry has been named the November Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School.  Emily, a senior, is the daughter of Theresa Perry of Rockingham.  Always striving to push herself above and beyond, Emily works hard in her classes.  She is an extremely dedicated student who always gives her best.  Emily eagerly participates in class discussions, asks good questions, is respectful of the opinions of others and is willing to take the lead in class activities.  She is a pleasure to have in class.  She is well liked and respected by the staff and students at BFUHS.  Emily is always positive, regardless of the situation. She participates in class activities and eagerly volunteers to help out in school related events. She was a very positive captain for the girl’s soccer team and this year has been very active in Student Council activities.  As a class officer and student council officer, Emily is often one of the first to volunteer when something needs to be done.  Recently, she helped spearhead the holiday food drive that the Student Council sponsored through which over 2700 food items were collected for Our Place.
