Picture Retake Day

Picture Retake Day is Monday, October 15th. Bring your picture packet to school for retakes.

On Friday, October 5 The Bellows Falls Union High School will run the Early Release Schedule.  On that date, the school day will end at 11:25.  At that time, students will be released to go home.  For students who normally take the bus home, buses will be scheduled to take students home when classes end.  This schedule change only applies to the Bellows Falls Union High School.

Out of an abundance of caution and with student safety in mind, we are making this schedule change.  This will enable contractors to complete our HVAC project by placing three large air handler units on the roof of the school with large cranes.  This work will begin between noon and 1 PM. The movement of the air handlers will likely be done by approximately 3 PM. Therefore, we will not need to cancel or reschedule our athletic events after school.  However, students will need to find their own transportation back to school for after school events. Students will be able to access the building after approximately 3 PM.

Open House

Save the date! The Bellows Falls Union High School will have an open house for all high school students and their parents on Thursday, October 4th at 7:00 p.m. This is a chance for parents to visit your student’s classes and meet their teachers.

Teagan Bacon, June Elks Student of the Month

It is a pleasure to announce that Teagan Bacon has been named the Bellows Falls Union High School Elks Student of the Month for June.  Teagan, a senior, is the son of Stephanie Bacon and Curtis Green.

Teagan comes to school every day with an interest in learning.  He is attentive to his studies, and when he is absent, he works hard to get caught up on what he missed.   Teagan is a hard worker who maturely advocates for himself and is not afraid to ask for help. He can work well independently and is willing to offer help to a classmate when needed as well. He has demonstrated responsibility, an interest in learning and a willingness to work hard. He works well with others and is willing to listen to and consider the views of other students. Teagan is a pleasure to have in the classroom and great to work with. Continue reading
